Lawrence County Fairgrounds

This is the first of two big bike shows at the 2008 Thunder in the Cascades. Friday night the best radical rides will line up on the midway for a winner takes all 'Best of Show' trophy. Participants can start registering at 4pm. Judging will begin at 5pm. Awards will be announced at the wet T-shirt contest immediately following in the grandstand. As long as you are registered at the event there is no charge to enter.

We are looking for the rides that turn heads wherever they go, the kind of ride that gathers a crowd at every bike night.

We are proud to present our 'Show and Shine' Bike Show for 2008. This is a fun opportunity to see what other riders think of your scoot. Remember this is not a 'blood & guts' competition. There is no charge to enter your bike.

Saturday go to the announced registration area. You will be asked to fill out a registration form. Assistance will be available if you are not certain about your class. You will be given a ballot and directed to park your bike in the appropriate class area. At 11am you and the other people who have a bike in show can begin voting for your favorite in all classes including your own. Only people who have a bike registered in the bike show can vote. Turn your ballot in when finished. All ballots must be in by noon. Winners will be announced at 4pm on the Red Barn Stage.
Class 1: Best Stock H-D 1903 -1984-constitutes original factory appearance and paint. After market chrome and accessories are permitted.
Class 2: Best Stock H-D 1985 to Present-constitutes original factory appearance and paint. After market chrome and accessories are permitted.
Class 3: Best Mild Custom-constitutes original frame, front end, and tank/fenders. Modifications are made to paint, added chrome, parts and other accessories.
Class 4: Best Radical Custom- constitutes modified frame, along with front end(optional),and tank/fenders, including custom paint, replaced or removed parts, added chrome and other accessories..
Class 5: Best Harley-Davidson Sportster
Class 8: Sport Bike/ Import or US
Class 9: Best Ladies Bike
Class 10: Best Non- H-D
Class 11: Best Trike/ 3 Wheeler
Class 12: Best Side-car Combo
Class 13: Best Rat Bike
Best Overall Paint Job
Best Overall Chrome
Best Engine
